Self Care classes and 1-to-1 sessions.
I have great pleasure in running Self Care Classes both in person and online. These classes have been influenced and created from amalgamating the Shiatsu, Psychology and Energy therapies. With the focus being on providing a tool kit consisting of; self care information, self massage techniques, beneficial acupressure points, stretches, Qigong routines, energy exercises, breathing techniques, as well as practical tools for dealing with stress, calming the mind, returning to center and guided relaxation techniques.
During lockdown my in person classes became converted to working on Zoom, where the classes were structured around how people felt on the night and making the class flow around taking each persons needs into consideration, which lead to very enjoyable and engaging classes where everyone felt included and they all got something beneficial from it. As such classes can be focused on a specific topic, area or can be tailored for the participants at that class.
My next in person Self Care class is running for 8 weeks from 1st November to 20th December 2022 between 18:30 - 20:00 at the Clackmannan Development Trust Office, 1 Main Street Clackmannan. Due to the size of the venue spaces are limited, so booking is advised. Please also bring your own yoga mat and a blanket for covering yourself during any meditations etc. Feel free to bring water with you also so you can stay hydrated. I have also found that the self care work can be used successfully in online zoom sessions in a 1-to-1 manner in isolation or in conjunction with talking therapy and allows a good way for getting the body and mind worked, wherever you are located.
